I am pleased to introduce myself as Markel, a dedicated Visual Communication Postgraduate hailing from Birmingham. My pursuits revolve around a deep appreciation for exploration, family bonds, and the art of capturing life's moments through the lens of my camera.
My creative interests centre on the realm of cinematography, with a particular fondness for the works of luminaries such as Spielberg and Gregory Crewdson. I thrive on the continual exploration of diverse methodologies and mediums in my personal artistic endeavors. Presently, my focus is on a significant undertaking centered around documenting the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster, three decades since its occurrence. Through a poignant visual narrative, I aspire to evoke empathy for the secluded corners of the world that remain hidden from public view.
